Thank you everyone for sharing your thankfulness! I’m thankful for my healthy, happy family, being able to enjoy Maui and turkey sandwich leftovers!
My husband and I finally got to go to a Kupu Maui Dinner! It was a special night for an early Thanksgiving hosted by Hashimoto’s Persimmon Farm. We were happy to see a clear, crisp Kula day at the farm with a great view of the valley. We were led on a personalized farm tour through beautiful persimmon orchards. 50+ people were there and we were happy to get a seat inside with the temperature shooting down at sunset. Upcountry in November is so nice! It actually feels like fall.
Chef Lyndon Honda was at his finest.

Kupu Maui is a pop-up restaurant event. With multiple courses straight from the farm, it’s something not to be missed and tends to sell out immediately.
I am thankful my Husband beat cancer and my Brother made it home from his service in Afghanistan.
Mahalo.
I am thankful for the fact that I have a large, healthy family to spend Thanksgiving with. They have supported my goals with love and enabled me to achieve an education in something I am passionate for.
I’m so thankful to be able to return to Maui for Thanksgiving and spend time with my ʻohana. It’s always great seeing them and it’s been a while since I’ve stepped foot on my home island so I am very grateful for that! Hauʻoli Lā Hoʻomaikaʻi iā kākou!
